The five-stage solids control system mainly includes Shale Shaker, Vacuum degasser, Desander, Desilter, and Horizontal Dencater Centrifuge to ensure the circulation of clean mud and ensure the reuse of mud.
The Shale Shaker is the first-level solid control equipment in the drilling fluid solid control system, which can effectively separate particles with a diameter of more than 74 μm in the mud fluid.
The vacuum degasser separates hydrogen sulfide and other gases, and can effectively reduce the corrosion of the desander and desilter cyclone components during the treatment process.
Desand cleaners are secondary solids control equipment for drilling mud, which can separate solid particles between 40 and 100 microns.
Desilter is a three-stage solids control equipment for processing drilling mud, which can separate solid particles between 10 and 74 microns.
