Hydrocyclone is one of the hydroclassification equipment. Unlike the screening equipment, which is graded strictly according to the geometry, it is graded according to the different sinking speed of the ore particles in the moving medium. Therefore, the classification effect is determined by two factors, one is its own weight and the other is its shape. Materials with different particle sizes are subject to different centrifugal forces and relative blocking forces. The hydrocyclone is a classifying device using rotary flow, which can be used for classification, concentration and desliming by adjusting the parameters. It has the advantages of simple structure, large production capacity, small footprint and easy to realize automatic control. Now the fluid classification equipment used in coal processing plant is mainly hydrocyclone.
